Nick Crnko is not a typo.

Nick Crnko is an audio editor and sound engineer with experience in musical and spoken-word audio production. Born in Seattle, Nick graduated from the University of Redlands where he studied creative writing and drum performance.

As a full-service podcast engineer and producer, Nick’s project contributions include:

• Audio cleaning & editing (filler word + sound cutting, repetitive wordage trimming, stumble correction)

• Content editing to improve storytelling and sharpen dialogue

• Audio repair editing

• Project mixing and mastering

• Professional knowledge in mainstream DAWs such as Adobe Audition, Protools, and Digital Performer, as well as Izotope RX, Izotope Ozone, and Descript

• Creation of social assets to promote podcasts on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok

In addition to engineering and editing, Nick is fluent in:

• Recording techniques

• Microphone placement

• Preproduction set up

Nick now resides in Los Angeles, where he spends his time working on audio projects and as a multi-instrumentalist.
